Creative 3D Printing Camp with Engineering Design and Hands‑On Projects
Location: Dr Owl Academy, 15445 Los Gatos Blvd, Los Gatos, CA 95032
Time: 9 – 4pm daily
Grades: Rising Grade 4 – 8
Price: $720 (Early Bird Discounted Price $680, must register before April 1st, 2026.)
Our 3D Printing Summer Camp introduces students to the world of design, engineering, and digital fabrication through hands-on, project-based learning. Using Tinkercad, students develop design thinking and rapid prototyping skills as they follow the full design → model → print → test → improve process, experiencing how real-world engineering works.
This camp focuses on thinking, creating, and problem-solving—not just operating a machine.
Daily Schedule:
9 am – 12 pm: Instruction/Group Work/Individual Work (two 10min breaks in-between)
12pm – 1 pm: Lunch
1 pm – 4 pm: Instruction/Group Work/Individual Work (two 10min breaks in-between)
Maximum class size: 10
Student Teacher Ratio: 6:1
What to bring:
STUDENTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN LAPTOPS with mouse.
Lunch time is 12-1pm everyday, students need to bring their own lunch. A refrigerator and microwave oven are available onsite. Water bottle, snacks.
