Our LEGO robotics programs in Los Gatos are designed to help kids and teens develop coding, engineering, and problem-solving skills through hands-on STEM projects. Students can also join our Robotics summer camp 2026, all guided by experienced robotics instructors.

2026-2027 LEGO Robotics Class
Suitable for students ages 8 – 14
2026/08/08 – 2026/12/18, No classes on 9/6-7, 10/12, 11/11, 11/26 – 29
2027/01/09 – 2027/05/21, No classes on 1/18, 2/15
Students learn common mechanisms such as rack n pinion and coding blocks such as line detection to prepare for the upcoming competition season. Classes are 2 hours per session. Students are grouped based on age and abilities.
2026-2027 FLL Competitive Robotics Coaching
Level 1 coaching package includes coaching sessions from August 8 through the end of first round qualifying tournament (around late November). This package includes 16 coaching sessions, tournament day mentoring and post competition recap.
Level 2 coaching Package includes coaching sessions up to Regional Championship.(TBD)
Join your registered team for an exciting season of competitive robotics at Dr. Owl Academy! This class is for students already placed on a team and assigned a time slot with Coach Shannon. Classes are 3 hours per session.

This class is designed for students who are interested to learn about FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) but are not yet ready to be on a team. Classes are 3 hours per session.

2026-2027 LEGO Robotics Trial Class
Our LEGO Robotics Trial Class offers students a first look into our Spring 2026 Robotics program. This introductory session is designed for students ages 8 – 14 who are curious about robotics, engineering mechanisms, and coding.
During the trial class, students will:
Explore basic LEGO robotics components
Build simple mechanisms (such as gears and rack-and-pinion systems)
Try introductory coding blocks, including sensor-based actions like line detection
Experience the structure and teaching style of our regular 2-hour classes
This trial class is an excellent opportunity for families to understand the curriculum and evaluate whether the full Spring 2026 session is a good fit.
Fee: $80 per session
Registration for trial classes will be available after Aug 8th.
