Course Overview
Our robotics curriculum is a structured, step-by-step journey. It successfully supports students at all levels. Furthermore, it guides them toward competition-ready engineering skills. This comprehensive roadmap provides the exact structure needed for growth. Consequently, it delivers the technical depth required to teach structural design, mechanical engineering, and advanced programming.

Thoughtfully organized into progressive tracks, the curriculum ensures steady progress. In addition, it helps students build confidence and real-world skills at every stage:
Foundations & Mechanics
Students bring physical computing to life by mastering core programming concepts. Meanwhile, they study complex mechanics. These topics include gear ratios, rack and pinion systems, linkages, and pulleys.
Through hands-on engineering challenges, students bridge the gap between theory and reality. For example, they practice navigating obstacle courses and conquering steep inclines. Additionally, they unlock the power of sensor integration. Specifically, they utilize line-following algorithms and advanced gyroscope data for precise navigation.
Advanced FLL Competition Prep
For students ready to level up, the advanced track offers rigorous FIRST LEGO League (FLL) preparation. Therefore, young engineers learn to design compact, highly stable drivebases. Moreover, they develop sophisticated, modular coding templates. These templates use custom functions and global variables to maximize efficiency.
Course Outcome
Ultimately, the focus shifts to elite competition readiness. As a result, students thoroughly master mission strategy, route optimization, and highly reliable autonomous movement.

STUDENTS NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN LAPTOPS/IPAD (NO Chromebooks). ROBOTIC KITS WILL BE PROVIDED IN CLASS FOR BEGINNER AND INTERMEIDATE LEVEL CLASSES. Advanced students are required to bring their own SPIKE Prime kit. Parents are encouraged to purchase the LEGO Spike Prime set for their own use at home (please do not bring them to class).
